America Awakened is a news aggregate site with a politically motivated theme. The primary requirements for this project were an attractive, modern, news blog style with maximum utilization of ad networks.

Boxed Layout
We designed the look and feel for this site by keeping an overall woodworking concept in mind. Being full-width gives it a modern feel. We make use of contrasting textures in the body, header and footers. As a result, we’re able to bring out the wood-working look and give the site sort of a clean work bench feel.
